Message	and Wiseco had taken a good bit of damage from the Z32 community in the fact that their pistons made a lot of chatter even when installed correctly (pin offset). The chatter the original design had is also an issue for wear. We tested these pistons in several engines that we pulled back apart for inspection and they were causing scuffing on the cylinder walls as well as on the piston itself. It also caused some significant ovaling of the cylidner because of this. With the fact that there are other forged pistons on the market that do not have this noise issue or any of the wear patters associated with the use of them, we felt that the design of the Wiseco piston was in need of further development...
